More Information
Due to a large number of weather-related outages and the last 48hrs' hazardous conditions, our crews are still working hard to respond to faults reported to us from affected homes and businesses.
Right now our crews are prioritising any faults which present serious safety risks, followed by restoring supply to any customers without power. Other faults such as sagging lines will be checked on next. We have brought in crews from other areas to help with the cleanup effort. It has been a very challenging 48hours for our crews and we would ask people to be patient.
We may have to turn off power to some areas so our crews can safely fix any damage, before restoring power. You can check the status of any known major outages here, but please bear in mind that new outages might take a few minutes to display.
Please contact your electricity retailer if you're affected by an outage that isn't showing, as we might not be aware of it.
If you spot a hazard such as downed power lines, or if you have any other safety concerns, phone our emergency line on 0800 248 148.
Please treat all lines and electrical equipment as live at all times.
If you're medically dependent, follow your emergency response plan and contact your health practitioner if an outage puts you at risk of harm. Call 111 if someone's in danger or if there’s a fire or serious risk to property (the emergency services can call us out if we need to attend).
